I'm currently working on a post on why'd I'd be thrifty even if I was a billionaire, it's about so much more than the savings. An important one I've been thinking about with thrifting is how it helps keep us from supporting overseas workers in hideous working conditions to keep the prices of new things low.
No need to buy new when we have so much high quality abundance at the thrifts!
Very true, Van. I too was just saying not that long ago that if I magically came into money I'd use that money to fund traveling and adventures, but would still thrift every chance I got!
