Vintage Photo Friday: Party Time, Excellent!!

Duuuuuddddeee...

Maybe it's just me. But whenever I spot two partying dudes on a dated couch I immediately think of Wayne's World. While neither of these guys particularly resemble Wayne Campbell or Garth Agar, there's just something oddly reminiscent about the pair.  Look at the posture. The body language. The goofy faces.

"We're not worthy! We're not worthy!"

Just slice a few holes in those jeans, shave that facial hair. Slap a cap on the dude on the left and give the other guy the Garth bleach job and it's totally Wayne's World down in that basement. This Vintage Photo Friday is a total sha-wing

"Wow! What a totally amazing, excellent discovery!" ~ Wayne.

What do you think? Way Or No Way?

Way. When my oldest kids were about 8 I remember them walking through the grocery store saying SHWING!! Which they did not know what it meant and I was not sure if it was cute or horrifying. Tell me, did you have to Google Wayne & Garth's last names or do I want you on my trivia team? :OD

Peace: It's a tad inappropriate and I love it nonetheless. I admittedly only knew Wayne's last name and came across Garth's while looking for a good picture mash-up. I have a little brushing up to on my trivia before I join the team, I'm afraid. =)

Serena: OMG I know!! I spotted that too and it's hilarious. It takes a real man to wear a tee shirt of his mother (while likely partying on his mother's basement couch).

Love the vintage photos, but I gotta confess I never understood the culture surrounding those two. Was never a fan of them or the genres of music they review ;) More a Stevie Wonder classic Motown R&b chick...

I loved the movie...I don't know. Kind of a simple, silly humor. And I'm into classic rock...along with a variety of other strange genres. Does bar room piano constitute a genre of music? Ah, who knows!
