My hyper-frugal Hispanic grandmothers (they bought nothing but the NECESSITIES for, eh, DECADES) have passed that legacy down to me, too.Vanessahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00445764937751339633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022660958638733493.post-83676923657497613602011-07-28T00:23:37.735-04:002011-07-28T00:23:37.735-04:00Thanks, Amber. Wow, a whole house of mid-century furniture...that's a lot of memories.

@ cfb: Thank you for your condolence. I am glad to be able to share a bit about my grandmom with my readers. I'm sure everyone has lost someone important in their lives. But maybe reading others' experiences can help with self-reflection.

Thanks for stopping by!
=)Jackie Jardinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13010905516066081090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9022660958638733493.post-33772965838649635992011-07-26T22:45:04.134-04:002011-07-26T22:45:04.134-04:00Very sweet post! My Nana left 5 jewelery boxes full of costume jewels, my Gram a house full of mid century furniture - they both had great taste! It's best to remember them from the good times, and to pass on their wisdoms!Lori Chttp://lfcrossman@hotmail.comnoreply@blogger.com
